I was just listening to Dennis Miller on the Jay Leno show tonight. Who would think this is the same Dennis Miller from decades ago? Dennis gets it and he says it - unashamedly. He is one of the few who has had the temerity to thank the troops and president Bush for protecting us - in the face of hollywood. Six years and no significant terrorist attack since 9/11. He also thinks we should go ahead and take out Iran. I agree. If we don't do it now, we'll have to do it later, and maybe as the result of a nuclear attack on our country!
Dennis is for Rudy, but he'll come on board when Fred wins the primary! We need more celebrities like Dennis, more who "get it." I'm not sure who Bruce Willis is for, but I'm thinking he'll be a Fredhead before it's over....

Fred Thompson is PRO-Abortion
Here from his own mouth!
Fred Thompson talks about abortion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5a_Fpu_8KE&NR=1
See it in his record:
While Fred Thompson was a US Senator, he voted for HHS Appropriations
that funded Planned Parenthood, and funded selected surgical abortions via Medicaid,
and funded chemically abortifacient birth control, and funded birth control for unmarried teenagers to fornicate, even if their parents objected (Title X program).
For example, Fred Thompson voted for passage of the HHS Appropriations bill for FY 2002,
funding Planned Parenthood, selected surgical abortions, chemical abortions, and
birth control for unmarried teenagers, even if their parents object, on December 20, 2001
(see H.R. 3061, 2001-2002, 107th Congress, at http://thomas.loc.gov). The former Tennessee
US Senator's vote supporting passage of H.R. 3061, "Thompson (R-TN), Yea" is recorded at:
www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&session=1&vote=00378
How can you back that big phoney?? He is NOT a conservative!
Has supported first-trimester abortions
As pointed out by Adam's Blog on 3/22/07, the 1994 edition of the National Right to Life news has Fred Thompson listed with a small cross next to his name, meaning that he was believed that abortion should be legal during the first trimester. Today, he's taking great pains to call himself "pro-life" with no caveats, but it remains to be see whether that position is as solid as he's trying to make it seem.
You may be right that Fred isn't totally conservative. However, we are faced with a dilemma - From the list of possible candidates (those who can win the primary), where is there a better choice?
We can either support the best "electable" candidate, or we can choose "our guy", the one who most closely resembles our own ideals, but can't win, or we can support Fred.
I'm with Fred!
